About (VKV), Rishabhdev English Medium Senior Secondary School

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Rishabhdev, a co-educational English Medium Senior Secondary School, situated at the holy place of Lord Rishabhdev, a beautiful place surrounded by hillocks, was started in the year 1995. It runs in conformity with the ideals of Indian culture. Special emphasis is laid on character building and growth of integrated leadership quality amongst the youngsters. The school seeks excellence in the sacred field of learning and fulfills a long felt need in this rural area to provide modern education to children with effective emphasis on the eternal traditions of ethics and morality. An appropriate environment for this purpose is ensured in the school campus with the team of specially selected and highly motivated staff. Their constant proximity with the students makes close interaction and absorption of ideas between the Guru and Shishya possible on all matters relevant to life and living in the community.

The school is progressing leaps and bounds adding one class every year. The first mile-stone was reached in the year 2001 when the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi recognized the school through affiliation allowing the students of the Vidyalaya to appear at the All India Senior Secondary School Examination and the first batch appeared at the said examination in March, 2003. The results of Class X at the CBSE examinations have been cent percent throughout since the school sent the first batch in 2003. In order to develop traits of leadership, the school provides opportunities of growth through healthy competition. For this purpose, the entire school population is divided into four houses i.e. Bhardwaj House, Vashishtha House, Vishwamitra House and Gautam House. Besides, celebration of National days and Jayanties of great persons, the school organizes various competitions like Song, English, & Hindi writing, English & Hindi poem recitation, Storytelling & Story writing, Mono Acting, Fancy Dress, Drawing & Poster and Extempore English speech.
