International Yoga Day 2025 "योगः चित्तवृत्ति निरोधः" Yoga is the stilling of the mind's movements. Today, Vivekanand Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev , in collaboration with RSWM LTD, Rishabhdev, celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm. From Surya Namaskar to meditation, students, teachers, and RSWM staff actively participated in various yoga asanas that promote physical strength, mental clarity, and inner peace. Yoga is not just an activity — it is a way of life we proudly follow as part of our daily routine. This celebration served as a beautiful reminder of India’s ancient wisdom and its timeless relevance in today’s fast-moving world. 🌿 Let’s bend, breathe, and grow together. 🍀 Because at VKV Rishabhdev, we don’t just educate minds — we nurture souls.
The school hosted a valuable meditation session for both students and teachers, organized by the Vipassana Meditation Centre, Jaipur. Students from Classes 10th and 12th participated alongside the faculty. The session aimed to introduce the benefits of meditation and encourage deeper engagement with the practice.Mr. Anil Mehta delivered a motivating talk to teachers, highlighting the personal and professional benefits of meditation. The meditation session was a resounding success, achieving its key objectives. Students gained valuable insights into mindfulness and practical tools for managing stress and enhancing focus. Teachers were informed about the potential benefits of deepening their meditation practice and given the opportunity to consider the upcoming program. This collaboration with the Vipassana Meditation Centre has planted the seeds for a potentially transformative shift in our school community, promoting holistic well-being and enriching the learning environment for both students and staff.
It was organised for students on 7th August, 2019 to prevent both Measles and Rubella diseases. Total 1039 students from Play Group to Class Xth were vaccinated during this camp. The vaccination Program was executed in collaboration with Aasha Sahyogini, Anganwadi workers along with the medical team of Community Health Centre, Rishabhdev.
