We were honored to host Dr. Anshuman Sharma as the resource person, and he was warmly welcomed and felicitated by the school team. Workshop Overview: Dr. Sharma led a highly interactive session focusing on how to shift from traditional teaching to productive learning. The session emphasized that the happiness of students is the foundation of a successful classroom. Teachers were encouraged to start each class on a positive note, recognize each child’s efforts, and foster a friendly, supportive environment. The importance of teacher well-being was also highlighted — a motivated and protected teacher is more likely to be productive and innovative. Key Themes Discussed: From Teaching to Learning: Focus on outcomes and understanding rather than mere content delivery. Happy Classrooms: Create a joyful environment that encourages active participation. Cater to All Learners: Use differentiated strategies to meet diverse student needs. Education Beyond Literacy: Aim to make students educated, not just literate. Knowledge to Skill: Encourage real-life application of concepts. Reasoning & Social Skills: Help children develop critical thinking and collaboration. Holistic Development: Nurture intellectual, emotional, and social growth. Active Classrooms: Incorporate projects, role plays, group discussions, and hands-on activities to make learning more engaging and effective. The workshop served as a powerful reminder that 21st-century teaching is not about how much a teacher teaches, but about how well students learn. Dr. Sharma’s insights left a lasting impression, motivating all participants to create classrooms that are innovative, inclusive, and inspiring.
